KhaledWith 30 years of diverse international computer industry experience, Khaled has a solid sales and commercial profile coupled with a strong and comprehensive technical background. He helped to introduce over 1200 courses covering all IBM’s hardware and software technical training curriculums and delivers tailored on-site offerings, an active public schedule and a rich set of e-learning products with a multitude of learning management solutions.
His experience in commercial and technical environments suit his current role, where he concentrates on business development and management of training solutions and services including sales, marketing, and delivery with a clear focus on quality, revenue and expense.

Linda Smith, Business Development Director for AWS, Microsoft and VMware –

Polaroid-LindaWith over 20 years’ experience in the IT training industry, Linda has been with Global Knowledge for nearly 10 years in both Strategic Sales and Product Management roles. As Business Development Director for the UK & EMEA for Microsoft, VMware, AWS, EMC, Veeam, Symantec and Citrix, Linda is actively engaged in all aspects of the vendor relationships from the course portfolio we offer, supporting the partners looking to attain competencies to promotion of apprenticeships offered by PDS mapping to their accreditations. She can also be found attending vendor user groups like LonVMUG for which she is on the committee.

 

Barry Corless, Business Development Director for Best Practice

Barry is our BPolaroid-Barryusiness Development Director for Best Practice and acknowledged ITIL® guru. As a former chair of itSMF UK and ITIL® v2 Chief Examiner he is widely sought after to speak at a variety of industry events. At Global Knowledge, he engages in a number of our key customers in development and delivery of both education and consultancy assignments along with leading the development of our best practice portfolio. In his spare time he is (amongst other things) a keen ornithologist.

 

 

Adam Murphy, Business Development Director for Cisco –

Adam has wAdam Murphyorked in the Cisco training Industry for over 12 years, firstly at Azlan training and the transitioning to Global Knowledge. Throughout this time Adam has led the Best practice division in the UK for 3 years he then transitioned across to be responsible for the Cisco Line of Business in the UK&I. Adam has worked closely across the stack of Cisco, Channel & End Customer and has seen the shift in the perception and consumption of Cisco training.
Adam is an expert in the approach to market and has led numerous changes in the training industry including the market wide adoption of Global Knowledge’s leading modalities such as Virtual and Classroom (V&C) and Class Connect (CC). Adam continues to look at innovation in the market to increase the wider adoption of Cisco training.

Brook Allen

Currently Brock iBrook Allens a consultant specializing in .NET, web development and web-based security with 20 years of industry experience. Brock is the co-author of many security-related open source frameworks including IdentityServer, IdentityManager and MembershipReboot. He also frequently posts to the ASP.NET forums, is a MVP for ASP.NET/IIS, a member of ASPInsiders and a contributor to the ASP.NET platform.

 


Mike Kennedy

Mike KennedyMike is an author, an instructor at Global Knowledge. He is an expert in .NET, Python and MongoDB among other technologies. He has been building commercial applications with .NET since its initial public beta in 2001. He is a member of the MongoDB Inc.’s MongoDB Masters community. He is enthusiast in the Python community and is diving head-first into Swift. Prior to working with these technologies, Michael spent many years working with C++ on Windows and SGI platforms. He holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics and is a Microsoft Certified Trainer.


Pierre Nallet

Pierre NalletPierre specializes in core .NET, security, graphical user-interface and new emerging technologies. He has been writing commercial and internal software for the past 15 years using a variety of languages and platforms. Pierre has a broad background in software development. He has deep experience in core .net, Windows UI (WPF, Windows Forms, ATL/MFC), Web applications (ASP.NET and Silverlight), web services (WCF, Web services), security and data access (LINQ, ADO.NET). He is also the author of Clear Office, a set of Office software components for .NET developers.


Bradley Needham

Bradley Needham
Bradley started teaching in 1994 where he taught classes in C++, Win32 system services and Java which he also authored. He is currently teaching and authoring C++ and Java courses. Bradley specializes in C++ and Java. For over twenty years Bradley has consulted for several different industries including aerospace, telecommunication, finance and entertainment. He works mainly on back-end server development.

 


Marvin Smit

Marvin SmitMarvin started his career in a few small Dutch software companies, where he designed and developed complete solutions based on customer wishes. Having had different ‘administrative-based’ projects delivered, he decided the multi-media sector was more fun. Flowing from designing and writing CD-i titles to being a technical project lead for intranet introduction within a large Dutch ensurance company, he has currently found his way into the Content Management sector. Having been one of the Architects/Developers in a team of carefully selected, highly-valued people has been one of his greatest joys within Tridion. The Content Management system is now used by companies and institutions like; KLM, Dutch government, Spanish government and Schlumberger.

Tony Whitter

Tony WhitterTony has worked as a software developer, consultant and trainer for over 30 years, including four years as the Head of Technology for a multinational software corporation. He has authored a popular series of .NET training courses, trained numerous developers, spoken at major international conferences and worked closely with Microsoft on Visual Studio since 2004. Tony is also a Microsoft Distinguished Visual Studio ALM Ranger, a Microsoft Visual Studio ALM Ranger Project Lead, the Microsoft Visual Studio ALM Ranger Project Lead Champion for 2013 and has been awarded as a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) multiple times.

Tiberiu Covaci

Tiberiu CovaciTiberiu ‘Tibi’ Covaci lives in the UK and specializes in full stack technologies. He has a particular interest in Microsoft technologies especially .NET, ASP.NET, and Microsoft Azure. He also enjoys educating others in his field of expertise.
Tibi holds two degrees in Computer Science one from Technical University of Timisoara, and one from the Royal School of Technology in Stockholm. He has been working in the software industry since 1994, and the very first version of Visual Studio (which was actually called Visual C++) that he started working with was 1.5.
Currently Tibi is an independent consultant specializing in .NET, web development, and Microsoft Azure, with 20 years of industry experience. He also is a book author and instructor for the premier developer training company DevelopMentor, and former member of the Microsoft Learning Board of Advisors.
Tibi has a broad set of skills in the web sphere from client-side JavaScript, HTML5, Angular.js, Aurelia.js, Knockout.js to intimate server-side knowledge of ASP.NET.
For his passion and community contributions, Microsoft presented Tibi with the MVP award for ASP.NET and Azure, several times. He is an active member of the ASP Insiders, Azure Insiders, and Azure Advisors groups.
