If you are attending the ITSMF UK annual awards ceremony this year you will come across a few changes. A recent announcement from ITSMF UK has stated that the awards have now moved to coincide with the SITS – The Service Desk & IT Support Show.

Throughout the day ITSMF professionals will benefit from the collaboration, with the chance to socialise and meet likeminded experts in the service management industry. An evening of awards and recognitions will follow, giving a further chance for ITSMF professionals to network.

A gala dinner will be held at the Landmark Hotel in London, coinciding with the leading SITS exhibition on the 7th June. Now that these two events are being brought together, service management professionals can come together and celebrate the achievements in the industry. This year’s award categories include:

  • Digital Transformations Project of the Year
  • Service Innovation of the Year
  • Service Management Team of the Year
  • Training Provider of the Year
  • Service Integration (SIAM) Project of the Year
  • DevOps Implementation award
  • Young ITSM Professional of the Year
  • Ashley Hanna Contributor of the Year
  • Thought Leadership Award
  • Business Relationship Manager of the Year
  • Paul Rappaport Award for Outstanding Contribution to ITSM.

Diversified Communications UK, the organisers of the SITS show, and ITSMF UK have shown great passion for this collaboration, believing it will provide endless opportunities for the service management community.

“We’ve put a lot of new ideas into our revamped awards which will offer opportunities for a wide variety of approaches to service management”, says Barclay Rae, ITSMF UK CEO.

SITS, Group Event Director, David Maguire, added: “We are delighted that the ITSMF will be holding their Professional Service Management Awards after the first day of SITS. The coinciding of the events will create a great opportunity for IT professionals and vendors to continue networking and celebrate the achievements of the wider ITSM community, which are so richly deserved”.

We look forward to the changes coming to the Service Management world and hope that this year’s awards will make us as proud as the 2016 ITSMF UK awards.
